The Frame 6FA transition piece forms the shaped gas passage between the combustion outlet and turbine inlet region. Its body accommodates the change in section and orientation required by the relevant combustion and downstream gas-path interfaces. OBT supports custom manufacturing projects for this component family, with the exact configuration established through technical review.

For a 6FA-series transition piece, OBT reviews the curved passage, perforated areas, welded supports and end connection regions. The exact engine variant, material specification and mating interfaces are identified during technical review to establish the required production geometry.
OBT offers high-temperature-alloy processing, fabrication, welding and precision machining for custom turbine components. A transition-piece route is developed around the duct shape and connection geometry, using fabricated sections or cast subcomponents where appropriate. Dimensional measurement, material verification and agreed nondestructive inspection requirements are incorporated into the project quality plan.
Please provide engineering drawings or a representative physical sample for quotation and technical review. If drawings are unavailable, OBT can evaluate the sample for reverse engineering. The material, critical dimensions, quantity and inspection requirements are agreed with the customer before production.
